FLAGGED! is a disruptive social card game designed to facilitate radical honesty in the modern dating landscape. Grounded in Jesse Schell’s principle that the 'game enables the experience, but it is not the experience itself,' this project prioritises human connection over all else. It serves as a tactical tool for navigating the complexities of romantic compatibility, providing a structured yet non-judgmental arena for players to dissect their dating lives and identify behavioral 'red flags.'
My Role
This game design is a passion project developed entirely by myself. I developed the core mechanics and the experimental application of colour theory that defines the game’s signature 'hidden' elements. Beyond the visual design and packaging, I authored the social framework to ensure the game consistently achieves its objective: moving players beyond the cards and into a meaningful yet fun dialogue on dating experiences.
